Admissions Information
Coppell Montessori Academy provides the benefit of selective acceptance. In fairness to everyone in the class, the minimum standards for admission and continuing attendance include that each student:- fits within the academic curriculum of the class;
- fits within the emotional maturity of the class;
- is able to work with an appropriate measure of independence;
- meets the respectful behavioral standards of the school;
- not be frequently or unusually disruptive; and
- not require substantially more than his or her fair share of the teacher's attention
Coppell Montessori Academy accepts students with an expectation of promoting above-average students. Subject to basic admission standards, however, the School will accept a few children with manageable learning differences. We consider this to be an important part of our civic responsibility to our community. Children with any such differences are expected to meet the standards of classroom behavior, not be disruptive and not require substantially more than their fair share of the teacher's attention. The School believes that all children in the classroom benefit from the daily exposure to children with such differences, learning to behave towards others with sensitivity, respect, and kindness.
Prior to admission on the first day, all other enrollment paperwork must be submitted to the front desk along with the first month's tuition and supply fee. The necessary forms are as follow:
- Application for Admission
- Parent Handbook Acknowledgement
- Tuition Policy and Fee Schedule
- Notarized Emergency Information and Authorization Form
- Immunization Record (signed by the child's physician)
- Statement of Health
- Copy of child's birth certificate
Coppell Montessori Academy welcomes students irrespective of color, religion, national or ethnic origins.
